Where's #5 - moderation nazis? Often have overlap with #3, repwhores, they repwhore in order to get high enough reputation to get the power to do moderate as they see fit... note that #5 may think they're in camp #1, but they err too often on the side of closing posts because they want to exercise their power. This is my main problem with all stack exchange sites. It rewards repwhores with power. I'd prefer that reputation and power were divorced somehow. I don't know how to determine who would make a good moderator... but just "someone who posts a lot" is not really a good metric.
