* Share with the class, not speak down.
* Know how to steer the entire class / period / lecture

* Not re-reading what is in the book / on slides.
* Most of the time should be welcoming of questions.
* Should be respected by his class. If they are not, I think it makes it harder for them to be a good teacher and for people to see them as a good teacher. Everybody has there own unique role in helping a teacher be good, great or bad.
