AirPort base stations seems to be affected too, I got at least an update for a relatively new AirPort Extreme (running now 7.7.3), however, not for older base stations (running 7.6.4).
- chmars 13y agoAccording to http://www.imore.com/apple-updates-airport http://www.imore.com/apple-updates-airport, 'only' base stations with ac-support are affected.
- 0x0 13y agoThe AirPort 7.7.3 update is actually the OpenSSL Heartbleed bug, CVE-2014-0160: http://osdir.com/ml/general/2014-04/msg39413.html http://osdir.com/ml/general/2014-04/msg39413.html The OP is about a Secure Transport bug, CVE-2014-1295. So I guess Apple must have been using the OpenSSL library instead of their in-house Secure Transport library on the Airports!

- 0x0 13y agoWell, it was recently revealed that even the actual lightning-to-hdmi adapter dongle is running a cut-down Darwin/xnu: https://www.panic.com/blog/the-lightning-digital-av-adapter-surprise/ https://www.panic.com/blog/the-lightning-digital-av-adapter-...
- nwh 13y agoThat's incredibly complicated. Amazing.
