It's definitely possible but it seems like it's too early for any ORM "best practices". Check out gorp (https://github.com/coopernurse/gorp https://github.com/coopernurse/gorp) and beego orm (https://github.com/astaxie/beego/tree/master/orm https://github.com/astaxie/beego/tree/master/orm) for inspiration. In our case, we had to write a lot of ORM boilerplate.
