I'm shocked. What? You imply that Silicone Valley is full of skeevy, narcissistic megalomaniacs. It is still the USA after all, the land of scam, fraud, and deception, and manipulation. But I have to say, a lot of these companies, AirBnB included, are a LOT more transparent and honest than most of the industries and sectors that tech companies are trying to disrupt, uproot, and supplant. Maybe they are simply being drawn into the American status quo of having to be manipulative and deceptive and lying in order to get anything done.
