That graph is awful.

- ballstothewalls 12y agoI think two vertical axes with different scales is poor form. Especially when one is measured in thousands (the cumulative scale) and the other is not. My first thought looking at the graph was there was a convergence between annual and cumulative PhD's awarded--which doesn't make any sense. I think it would have been better done if it was just made into two graphs.
