I see this a lot. Do people not realize that the language is called Go, and that 'golang' is just a domain name, like 'ruby-lang', 'scala-lang' etc?
- jotux 13y agoPeople realize it but also admit it's a terrible name for a language and referring to it as golang is much better in the long run.
- sillysaurus3 13y agoIt's a habit I picked up because Google is my primary learning tool. "Golang how to X" is almost always a superior search phrase than "Go how to X".
