Agreed the data is interesting and the UI is pretty slick. I found the graphs to be poorly designed, both in terms of y-axis labeling and transitions (sometimes it's %, sometimes deaths/100,000, etc.), as well as things like labels.
In some cases, the findings in the text don't seem to be reflected in the graphs.
- mryingster 12y agoMy thoughts exactly. The axis labeling could have used some units, and for me, the colors were too similar to differentiate and pair up with the key at the bottom. The data seemed interesting, but these issues kept me from fully appreciating the data.
- aganders3 12y agoIt doesn't really solve the problem of similar colors, but clicking on the legend entries highlights the data on the graph.

- ozim 12y agoYou can click the key at the bottom to dim other things, and light up only one that interests you.
