This looks promising, but I don't feel good about the fact their SSL cert isn't valid. :/

  Their SSL cert isn't invalid, it's from CAcert (http://www.cacert.org/ http://www.cacert.org/).

  It's from CA Cert, which isn't trusted in most browsers but I'd consider it valid for this case.
