I have a tutorial site that is probabky 8 years old. I used to see 100k+ uniques per month. I'm not sure I have ever made more than $1 CPM via adsense, buysellads, or even targetted affiliate offers. I basically gave up and tried to sell but decide just to let it sit there and rot. contemplating removing ads and trying to eventually sell something but not sure how that will work.
- johnward 13y agoI ran some adsense stats to check. Found it interesting because I never pay attention anymore. The average from 2008 until now has been $0.62 RPM (revenue per mille/thousand views). For this year my tutorial site is averaging $0.42 RPM. The highest I have seen across other sites, some of which were made for adsense, was $3.43 RPM.
