The down side: homeless people hitting you up for change every half hour. Not to be a jerk because some of these people really are in a dreadful spot and need help, but it /does/ make it hard to work in some libraries, for instance (in the Bay Area), San Jose MLK, Los Altos, Palo Alto main branch.
