I apologize, I wasn't saying every query language /is/ Turing complete, just that to do exponentially more complicated tasks in a single atomic query... the lines start to blur between the two. Yes, these are hard subjects - especially things like cache invalidation. You raise good points, and I hope to answer them in the follow up posts I write - I expect your's and other's good eye to check my work. I'll let people know when I've written them.
