- ajanuary 12y agoDefinately looks better with some blur text-shadow: 0 0 4px rgba(0,255,0,1.0)
- hsx 12y agoYou're right! Added, thanks!
- brodney 12y agoThat does look better. How could a blur be incorporated into the ttf?
- owenversteeg 12y agoI might be wrong, but I believe that Inkscape has the ability to do blurring.
- taejo 12y agoThe TTF format does not, however.
- dictum 12y agoYou could get an effect similar to blur adding many small circles/ellipses around the glyphs[1], but the glyph size would increase significantly and that could be an issue for some rendering engines. [1]: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halftone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halftone
- zokier 12y agoScanline spacing looks uneven to me. A size multiple of 14 (the original size) would be better.
- ygra 12y agoProbably due to lack of hinting.
