I wrote my first HTML when I was 7, it was some now-deprecated html like <body bgcolor="#CCCCFF"> and <font color="blue"></font>. I think I was around 9 or 10 when I learned some JavaScript. Back then I used w3schools because I didn't know any better. I would recommend to show her what code can do, give her some resources, and allow her to explore and experiment.
