I've always found that having a good project manager on my projects has been a huge help. It lets me focus on the task at hand. I've stepped into the PM role occasionally, I find it to be difficult and stressful. Trying to minimise the time that people are blocked while protecting the team from direct client stress. Appreciate your project manager ;)
