Don't they just have to not be parallel?
- Retric 13y agoNo, your thinking 2D lines, but this is 3D space. It's easy to arrange things so they all miss each other and not have them be parallel. The goal is to have them touch, but not intersect.
- anon4 13y agoNah, not quite. You want every cylinder touching all 6 other cylinders and not going through them.
- saalweachter 13y agoIn three dimensions, non-parallel lines do not necessarily intersect.
- lcnmrn 13y agoYes, if the radius is infinite. But I think this is not the case.
