My conclusion does not stem from articles. It comes from actually using it next to 7, doing the same user and admin tasks I usually do. Without third party software to reign-in Metro it dominates and cripples the experience for a PC use case. The ONLY thing I wish 7 could steal from 8 is the task manager...
