I sure don't know - I've been using it for a while on my desktop system without any problem, but my usage is pretty light (compress/autodefrag enabled, snapshots with snapper before and after every system update, beside that I just use it as a normal filesystem). For what it's worth, it's considered production quality by SuSE with SLES.
