Sure, if we take that analogy further, what happens during environment change (aka requirement change)? With biology you get extinction, a whole class of organisms dies off. You then create new classes from some root branch. Class based code base works similarly. You end up deleting a bunch of classes then create new ones. I think we can do better than this.
