There are lots of voters believe in Erdogan because he said he's clean. It's all about uneducated public being manipulated through religion and patriotism. He talks about Islam and national flag. He's reading national anthem's lyrics in ads on TV.

- bayesianhorse 13y agoIn this case the choice is between one ideal that encourages you to think for yourself, and one that discourages you. One ideal which emphasizes the need for science and rational thought and one that needs conspiracy theories to survive. One ideal which has proven to bring peace and prosperity, while the other is failing miserably, comparatively speaking.
