- myke_cameron 13y agoEnvironments like this aren't worth dealing with, +1 for bailing. When you're looking at new gigs, ask questions about what the culture is like, oriented around work / life balance, and try to get a feeling for the number of people with families. I personally am a single guy with no children, but I like working around family oriented folks because they are used to the idea that you have many aspects of your life that are more important than your job (whether that happens to be family obligations or not).
