Also, I read somewhere that Google is contributing engineers to work on Maria. Although how many and for how long (compared to the GOOG's internal databases) remains to be seen.

- cwyers 13y agoGoogle is contributing code to WebscaleDB too, I don't know that their support of MariaDB means anything in this context. If you want MySQL+Google enhancements, WebscaleDB seems to give you that, plus the efforts of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and (since Webscale is not a fork) Oracle.
