I am really curious about this as well. I would be surprised if there is no YC alum with the opposite opinion. Even if they are wrong in their conclusion, I would be very interested to see a reasoned negative perspective on the value of YC as well to shape my personal evaluation better. It'd be awesome if a founder in that position volunteered publishing something, even if it's published anonymously. (If anyone has a link to such a writeup, that I may have missed, please comment!)
