I could imagine a lot of Wu-Tang fans joining forces to fund a Kickstarter-type thing to buy it and release it under some permissive license.

- staticshock 13y agoTo "release it", fans would have to buy the copyright, not just the album.
- logfromblammo 13y agoIf there is only one copy, and it is sold, how then would the original creators establish that the works found on the copy are actually theirs? If it is not the only copy, how would they not be liable for fraud in claiming that it is?
- evan_ 13y agoOther sources have speculated that the sale of the box set will include the copyright. http://www.forbes.com/sites/zackomalleygreenburg/2014/03/26/why-wu-tang-will-release-just-one-copy-of-its-secret-album/ http://www.forbes.com/sites/zackomalleygreenburg/2014/03/26/...
