Ask HN: How best to expand ACE Editor box on GitHub?

I like the ACE Editor mode on Github, but the space to work is so tiny in the vertical aspect. Is there some browser add-ons or some significantly better way to work in the browser on Github? The non-ACE editor allows for field expansion, but I miss the features of ACE this way. Most of what I've been writing has been markdown on the Gist site. Perhaps we should petition for larger boxes to live in. Thanks, Joshua
