He doesn't like java.
- codezero 13y agoYou can like something that you don't think is particularly useful or even productive. I like Brainfuck and Whitespace, but I'd never write code in them unless I was really depressed.
- cbsmith 13y agoHe does. People are missing the point.
- alttab 13y agoNo, pretty sure he was being demeaning to the point no developer would read this and want to work in java.
- cbsmith 13y agoYeah, not getting his point. Sure, you wouldn't want to work with it, but the reality is that letting go of the idea of writing perfect code helps you just getting it done. It's sickening, but it's a valid point.
- alttab 13y agoWhich is not a viewpoint from someone who "likes" it. They have an objective, professional point of view. He doesn't like it though.
