I've also noticed how very common it has become to find questions in the format "How to do [task]?" rather than "How do I do [task]?" I strongly suspect that this has arisen from Google searching, where people naturally write their queries to complete the sentence "I would like some information about ________."

"How to do [task]?" I've seen that most often from people of Indian origin. Not so much from Pakastanis though. Around 5-10 years ago I used to commonly see "I have doubt on how to <XXX>"[1].
