I'm pretty sure the idea is to get more GUI-based, not less. Telling a designer to use vi instead of Eclipse for UI is pretty hilarious.

- Intermernet 13y agoI'm doing CoreOS based development at the moment and it only comes with vi. I've come across many other minimal linux environments where vi is the only option. It's worth learning, even if you only learn the basics.
