All I saw were statements that carried no weight and complaints about how Silver and his team, instead of asking for the blessing of their "peers", tried to do the job by themselves. Krugman's mentions "But data never tell a story on their own.", and does the polar opposite, tries to tell a story with no data, and that's the wrong kind of story for what he was aiming for. Using Krugman's own words, his post "looks like something between a disappointment and a disaster."
