I've used MongoDB in production for 3 years or so and I've had nothing but problems. There's nothing like paying 10gen $100K for support and having them tell you they have no idea why your database isn't working. Just because your small scale system is running okay doesn't mean MongoDB is great, just that it's okay for your application.
