- userbinator 13y agoThe BLACKHOLE storage engine supports all kinds of indexes. Best part of that page.
- hibikir 13y agoUnix admins have been using a far better technology for decades: Store in /dev/null, extract from dev/random. The write speeds are just as fast, but you will eventually get your results back. It is said that it'd be quicker to extract the next Game of Thrones novel from this system than to wait for George R R Martin to finish writing it.
