I'm very interested in the UpDesk (http://updesk.com http://updesk.com). They have a motorized desk (PowerUp) and a manual desk (CrankUp) that are both lacking the middle crossbar and are very affordable. They also can handle up to 300lbs. I'm hoping to get one next month.
