Myself and others that have been writing on this recently aren't bashing the original values and principles that are in the Agile Manifesto. We are bashing how far we have all fallen from what matters and the industry of crap that has sprung up around it. These days, declaring you are Agile usually means you are a cowboy, but it sure sounds good to say anyway! People, and usually these are managers, are what kill projects ultimately. But the methodologies, or lack thereof, are the weapon the people use to kill projects.
