Not yet ready for a switch?
There is still a simple, clean, basic Gmail https://mail.google.com/mail/h/ https://mail.google.com/mail/h/
For more light weighted https://mail.google.com/mail/x/ https://mail.google.com/mail/x/
- webwanderings 13y agoYeah, it's time we go back to the basics. The html version is lot faster.
- neoartvive 13y agoThanks. I didn't know /x/ existed until now.
- sliverstorm 13y agoYup, I literally have to use /h/. Standard has become so slow I can count the seconds between the end of page loading and the begin of responsiveness (like how Windows used to boot to the desktop, but be unresponsive for another 30 seconds)
- nilkn 13y agoWow, /h/ is so much faster than standard Gmail. I'm legitimately going to use it all the time from now on.
- AharonH 13y agoI stopped using Conversation mode a month ago, and it's been both refreshing and shaved over a second off load time.
