I can't agree with this logic at all. Once we take away everything it means to be British, in an attempt to be 'secure' - what are we defending? We shouldn't

I can't agree with this logic at all. Once we take away everything it means to be British, in an attempt to be 'secure' - what are we defending? We shouldn't just do the right thing when it's "easy" - we should do it when it's the right thing.
