Agreed. This post doesn't bring anything more than the PR itself: there was more and more conflicts of interest. I think we all understand this. Besides, it was odd for some time now that Schmidt was still on the board. I don't think anybody is surprised or shocked. The only thing is that it fuels the Google Voice story a bit more.
