Well I know it's in Sendai region. But I forgot how much Japan bends up at Tokyo. Sendai isn't North East like I imagined. It's more directly North. Also, although Narita feels like an exhausting distance from Tokyo after you get off a plane, Sendai is of course much much farther away.
