Interestingly, google didn't bat an eye when I put my nickname as my first name and the full stop symbol (.) as my last name. Yellow Horse? Totally made up. .? Obviously a legit name, why my best friend is named $. (I write too much perl).

- saraid216 13y agoThey probably hardcoded it in as a stopgap when they were getting pushback on mononyms.
- aiiane 13y agoA period as last name is the way to enter a mononym of Google+, hence why that is supported. (The period will be dropped when the name is displayed.)
