- MichaelApproved 13y agoIn what way can they change the process?
- ars 13y agoThey can charge to fight a ticket. Boston does that: http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2011/03/07/controversial_ticket_appeal_fees_to_have_sjc_hearing/ http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2011... In Boston parking tickets are not about doing something wrong, or trying to curb behavior. They are basically a backdoor tax on the residents.
- Karunamon 13y agoSeems unconstitutional/illegal to me. While a layperson might not be able to fight it, a company who's business model is based on it might definitely be in a better position.
- fwenzel 13y agoThey can also lean towards rejecting almost any challenge entered by a system like this one. Conveniently, where I live, if you enter your argument by mail you are waiving your right to a trial, and they won't even reply to you unless you win (in which case you get some money back and it's obvious you won).
