Transactions can be reversed. They leave a trail. The punishments are huge. It's not worth the risk. Hacking a bitcoin exchange has no consequences. MtGox has no idea where the money went.
- goldenkey 13y agoThe punishment part is the key. Hacking a bank is not difficult. However, taking the leap to actually funneling money out, and keeping the trail painted black, is well..life-altering and difficult.
