Shouldn't it be easy though to configure the servers/load balancers to reject any request except for CloudFlare's? Then again, if the attacker spoofs their IP

Then again, if the attacker spoofs their IP address, I'm not sure how this would work (and I'm not sure how Cloudflare prevents against this as it is).
