- lunixbochs 13y agoIt's definitely slower than Sublime Text 3, but not by much and it's a pretty high bar.
- ChristianBundy 13y agoHow much slower? Slower doing what? It feels snappier to me at everything except for opening large files, but it's a beta – it's to be expected.
- lunixbochs 13y agoThe framerate is visibly slower on drag to select. Opening a window takes forever. The two major improvements for me are package management, and actual support for making GUIs.
- sdegutis 13y agoI did try it on my laptop, but not for long enough to hear the fan running. However the CPU does go pretty crazy just using Chrome on my laptop, so I fear it'll do the same with Atom.
