AFAIK Spritz is generally acknowledged in all Italy as a drink but it's a generic name. Different story is if you ask for an Aperol.

AFAIK Spritz is generally acknowledged in all Italy as a drink but it's a generic name. Different story is if you ask for an Aperol.
- davidw 13y agoIt has gained popularity in Italy lately, but it's from this area. Yes, 'spritz' is a generic name, and might be made from Aperol or Campari, but the Aperol version is probably the most popular. I prefer the Campari one myself.
