" Sorry to ruin your story/anecdote" ..not at all. I am aware of the johnnie walker whiskey ad. But story that "pj" wrote about his experience in the library meant more than the ad tagline 'keep walking' - in my opinion. I didn't mention about the tagline coincidence - to avoid diluting the meaning.
It's akin to the "just do it", which we always see all around, but i see it as an ad, not a motivation.
