Neat. I'd always filed the "CNAME screws with MX" away in my mind but I never knew the underlying reason beyond "because the RFC says so and it doesn't work IRL".
- joshstrange 13y agoYeah, neither did I, I just assumed it was just a rule no one followed.... As you can see I was wrong. I'm just glad I finally tracked down the issue before it drove me crazy.
