I've pushed the "I really don't see the market for this" question pretty hard when interviewing last time. It showed that I was trying to really understand what the offering was about. I got the job offer, it was a lowball offer, so I passed, whatever. It does show that some employers like it when people really engage (in a constructive way) with the big picture of what people are trying to do.
