The design seems heavily 'inspired' by DigitalOcean. Doesn't look very promising to me as of now.

Heavily 'inspired' for sure. I think it's doing them a bit of a disservice having their site be so similar to DO. An original brand focusing on how they are different from everyone else targeting devs may be better for them.
