The idea that through "powerful therapeutic algorithms" (whatever that is) people can wholly regulate their own emotions is dangerous and false. We are a social species and need other people to help regulate our emotions. We are not self-sufficient and believing otherwise feeds a dangerous fantasy that will only lead to more suffering.
