I'm here in USA on H1b. I'm 29 and I've only arrived about a month ago. Coming here has been an extremely difficult and long process for me, with thousands of job interviews ending with the first question -- "do you have a work permit". Presumably I'm not exceptional enough to just get a job with a company like Google, so it's supposed to be this difficult for someone like me. But articles like this still make me feel very sad.
