- rit 13y agoSan Jose is the nearest major city to Mt. View, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto & Santa Clara... they're using it as a Metro area grouping. EDIT: Yes, these are part of the "The San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area comprising Santa Clara and San Benito counties".
